"Amethyst Falls" - A Cascade of Peace

A vibrant, purple landscape where color and contrast do the work. Amethyst Falls is a colorful, peaceful acrylic painting that centers on a high waterfall between shadowed cliffs and wildflowers down the mountainside. The full moon rises into a dusk of clouds and colors, bringing everything in nature into focus. This 20"x20" acrylic on canvas painting reminds us that the water, the trees, the birds, they all work in rhythm. Alert, yet peaceful. 

Deep purples and dark greens shape the cliffs, while pale lavender in the sky reflects through the florals below.
