Melissa’s art blends bold, fun colors with realism, creating work that’s vibrant, expressive, and personal. She’s best known for her work with sports icons and musicians, but her desire to constantly experiment means she's always learning and evolving.

Her journey in art began with drawing portraits of both humans and pets, and over time has evolved into acrylic and oil paintings of landscapes and wildlife alongside her classic portraits.

A lifelong Chicago sports fan and musician, much of Melissa's work is still rooted in what she loves: Chicago sports teams and landmarks. But with a love for the ocean and all wildlife, many pieces will feature themes of conservation and include animals of all sizes and species.
