Shipping policy

ORDER PROCESSING:
Please allow up to 3 business days to pack and prepare your order. Watch your email - once the item has been dropped off or picked up for shipment, you will have your tracking number sent! 

If you are ordering an item that ships directly from me, it will be added to your store order.  If you are ordering an item that is produced off-site or made to order, you will receive it by separate email. 

FLAT RATE SHIPPING:
Items eligible for flat rate shipping will be shipped within 3 business days (but usually faster!) and your tracking number will be provided.  If your order is not eligible for flat rate shipping based on your location or items ordered, you will be prompted to select your shipping method. 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
For original works, I do ship worldwide, and your shipping cost is determined based on the carrier you select. 

For prints and all "flat rate" items, I currently ship to: United States, Canada, Europe & Australia.  If your country is not on this list, please contact me directly. 

Your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT), which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country. Melissa The Artist is not responsible for these charges if they are applied and are your responsibility as the customer.

LOCAL PICKUP: 
Select items are available for local pickup, and if this option is selected at checkout, the buyer is responsible for all travel costs to a mutually agreed upon location near Schaumburg, IL.
