Gentle Affection is a 16" x 20" acrylic painting featuring two hyacinth macaws perched side by side on a branch in a lush tropical forest. Surrounded by greenery and the smallest floral blossoms, the scene is bathed in warm sunlight under a clear blue sky. Two birds watching the forest from the very top of the canopy.

This acrylic painting on canvas captures the quiet connection between the birds, and provides the warmth and encouragement of our human desire to connect with others.  Hyacinth Macaws are the largest of the common macaws, but they are gentle and kind. They have been known to mate for life and are often described as loyal, affectionate and attentive.  It's a reminder of the bonds that can last a lifetime.
